Recently, May & June collaborated with a talented team of wedding creatives at the stunning Rainhill Hall, a Georgian country house nestled in the North West. With its graceful architecture and elegant interiors, the venue provided the perfect setting for a design centred on beauty, intention and timeless style.
The sage green drawing room offered an exquisite backdrop for the shoot. Thoughtfully crafted stationery by Fran of Details Darling, elegant styling by Steph of Ambience, and floral design by May & June came together to create something truly exquisite!
For the florals, we chose an entirely British-grown collection, embracing the seasonality, character and natural beauty that come from working with locally grown flowers. The designs featured white calla lilies, ‘Miss America’ peonies, white alliums, orlaya, roses, foxgloves, corncockles and sweet rocket.
Each flower made a unique contribution to the overall design. Sculptural calla lilies brought a contemporary elegance and a sense of drama, foxgloves introduced movement and whimsy, and corncockles added height and airiness.
Natural movement is at the heart of our floral design. Every composition sways and dances. Nothing forced, nothing overworked. Just flowers allowed to be themselves.
The dining table was styled with delicate bud vases filled with seasonal blooms. As the morning sunlight streamed through the windows, it caught the glassware and cast beautiful reflections across the draped velvet tablecloth, adding another layer of texture and softness.
A foam-free meadow installation and urn framed the grand fireplace, creating a focal point that felt abundant without overwhelming the space. The floral designs enhanced the room’s architectural features while maintaining an atmosphere of elegance.
The result was a wedding aesthetic rooted in timeless beauty rather than fleeting trends. Proof that when thoughtfully designed, a simple palette of ivory and green can create something truly unforgettable.
